Originally from El Salvador, Osvaldo Ramirez Castillo has exhibited extensively across Canada and internationally in spaces such as the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, the International Print Center in New York, MAI (Montréal Arts interculturels), La Halle Saint Pierre in Paris, and at Marte- Museo de Arte de El Salvador among others.

He is a recipient of the Artist Studio Award Program from the City of Vancouver (2015-2018), a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (2010), and numerous others from the Canada Arts Council.
